Registered Agent Services
Every corporation and LLC requires a registered agent with a physical address, available during business hours for official correspondence. Included in the Corporate Wellness Program for your state of formation.
What's Included?
- Receive and forward all official state correspondence
- Accept service of process on your behalf — so important documents don't get lost or overlooked
- Keep your home address off public records

Common Questions
Most of my clients did—whether through an online formation service, their CPA, another attorney, or on their own. During your wellness assessment, I'll review your formation documents, check your compliance status, and identify what's needed to get your records current.
I work with entities formed in any state. If you're a foreign entity registered in California, or registered in multiple states, I'll make sure both your home state and California filings are handled.
Your first year is $997, which includes either business formation or a wellness assessment if you're already incorporated, plus any work needed to get your records current. The Corporate Wellness Program is included from day one. After that, it's $499/year. State filing fees are separate—for California, that's $25/year for corporations or $20 every two years for LLCs. If you're registered in multiple states, I handle those filings too and just pass along the state fees. Franchise tax and gross receipts fees are handled separately by your CPA.
You're not alone—this is exactly why most clients come to me. During your first year, I prepare all missing governance documents and bring your state filings current. If your entity has been suspended or administratively dissolved, we'll work with your CPA to resolve any tax issues first, then I'll handle the reinstatement paperwork.

The Corporate Wellness Program handles all of this so you don't have to think about it.
The Corporate Wellness Program is your annual subscription—it covers routine compliance like state filings, meeting minutes, and resolutions. Corporate Care Services are for bigger changes that come up as your business evolves: ownership transfers, multi-state expansion, operating agreement amendments, and business closures. Corporate Care Services are available exclusively to Wellness Program clients.
Yes. The Corporate Wellness Program renews annually, and you can cancel before your renewal date. If you cancel, I'll make sure your records are in order and you have copies of everything.
If you're using a commercial registered agent service, I'll switch it over—registered agent service for your state of formation is included in your Corporate Wellness Program at no additional cost. If you prefer to serve as your own registered agent or use your attorney or CPA, that works too.
Tax strategy, estate planning, contract drafting and review, litigation, and general legal counsel. But you're always welcome to reach out—even if something falls outside my scope. I'll review it and help you find the right resource. With no hourly billing, you can ask freely without hesitation.
