Sean Stockstill

Attorney Sean Stockstill has been serving clients across South Louisiana since 2010. Whether through his law firm, Stockstill & Carter, or his title company, Reliant Title, Sean works closely with individuals and businesses to help them navigate their legal needs. Handling everything from real estate transactions to succession, and all manner of transactional matters in between, Sean’s focus is always on creating a positive experience for his clients.

Sean attended Louisiana State University where he earned his B.S. in History. He went on to earn his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at L.S.U. Following graduation, Sean began work for Seago & Carmichael in Baton Rouge. His experience there not only strengthened his legal knowledge and diversified his expertise but also gave him the confidence to open his first practice upon returning to Acadiana. After nine years of practice in Lafayette, Sean’s accumulated skillset and client-first philosophy led him to opening Reliant Title and Stockstill & Carter in 2023 along with his partner Kevin Carter.

Sean married his wife, Rikki, in their hometown of New Iberia in 2008, and they reside in Lafayette with their two children, Slevin and Scout. Sean’s spare time is dedicated to his family and sport.
