Kevin Carter

Kevin Carter, Attorney, Title Insurance Agent, and Owner of Reliant Title and Stockstill & Carter, has been practicing law in Acadiana since 2014, specializing in real estate for the last nine years. Kevin graduated with a degree in Biology from LSU before earning his law degree from Loyola in New Orleans. After law school, Kevin performed contract work for an oilfield service company, including work on real estate contracts, which provided a strong foundation and jumpstarted his interest in real estate title work.

Kevin has since dedicated his attention to helping clients across Louisiana move through important legal and real estate transactions, providing them with confidence and peace of mind every step of the way. He places a high priority on educating and providing strategic guidance to his clients, and exercising his expertise in residential and commercial closings, title insurance, creative financing, and transactional legal work. He has developed a reputation for being dependable, detail-oriented, and solution-focused, and that reputation has reinforced his belief that responsiveness and communication are just as important as legal knowledge when it comes to reaching the closing table. 

In 2015, Kevin married his wife, Lauren, and they reside in Lafayette with their three children. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hunting, and fishing.
